Find the Right Space for Your Holiday Party

What makes a holiday party work is rarely the decor. It is whether the room fits your group comfortably, whether the food service style matches the energy you want and whether your team can actually hear each other. A seated dinner for a leadership group of 20 needs a completely different space than a 150 person open house with passed bites and a playlist.

Below you will find the neighborhood each of our spaces are located in. Tell us your headcount, date range and budget on our inquiry form and our events team will come back with our suggested venues that actually fit.

Our Holiday Party Venues

Every venue in our collection is managed directly by our team of venue coordinators and one contract. Here is what each space offers for holiday events.

Steelbach

Armature Works

A Southern-inspired chophouse inside one of Tampa's most recognizable buildings. Steelbach is the choice when the holiday party is the annual event people expect to dress for. Grass-fed beef from Florida producers, a wine program built for long tables and a dining room with the kind of ceiling height that makes a group of 40 feel like an occasion. Private and semi-private options available, plus full restaurant buyouts for larger companies.

Jekyll

Hyde Park

Jekyll works well for teams that want a holiday dinner with personality rather than a ballroom feel. Private event options include menus built around shared plates and a cocktail program that gives your group something to talk about.

Ro

Hyde Park

Modern Asian cuisine with a level of detail that makes it a genuine destination. Ro is the pick when you want your holiday party to be the meal people bring up in March. Private dining accommodates seated groups, with tasting-style menus and pairings available for smaller executive gatherings.

1983

South Tampa

A South Tampa neighborhood favorite with an easy, unfussy energy that suits a team that wants to relax. 1983 handles group dining well across a range of sizes, with menu formats from family style to buffet depending on your headcount and how much your group wants to move around.

M.Bird

Rooftop at Armature Works

A rooftop with skyline and river views, and the most photographed setting in the portfolio. December in Tampa is patio weather, and M.Bird takes full advantage of it. The space suits standing receptions and open-house formats where guests circulate, with passed bites, a curated cocktail list and room to actually mingle.

Lower Deck

Harbour Island

A Florida-inspired waterfront restaurant at the marina level of Pointe at Harbour Island. Raw oysters, craft cocktails and water on three sides. Lower Deck is the antidote to the conference-room holiday party, and it is a strong fit for companies with a lot of out-of-town guests you want to impress with something distinctly Tampa.

Stones Throw

Armature Works

Stones Throw offers group dining options with menus that scale from small private dinners to larger groups.

Things to consider when booking your company or large group holiday party venue:

Corporate Holiday Party Venues in Tampa

Planning a corporate holiday party is a different job than planning a dinner. You are managing a headcount that keeps changing, a budget that has to be justified, dietary requirements you will not know about until the week of and a leadership team with opinions.

Our events team has a carefully curated selection of vendors and we build corporate holiday events around the parts that actually create work for you:

• Firm pricing before you commit. Per person minimums and food and beverage minimums quoted up front so you can take a real number to finance.

• Flexible headcount windows. Final counts due 72 hours out, not at contract signing.

• Dietary accommodation built in. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy-conscious options included in every group menu rather than treated as an exception.

• Bar package options. Beverages are on consumption or drink tickets, depending on how your company handles it.

• Simplified billing. Single invoice, credit card option with no fees, with documentation your accounting team will accept.

Choosing a Holiday Event Space in Tampa

Most holiday event space in Tampa falls into two categories. There are hotel ballrooms, which hold everyone but feel like a conference, and there are restaurants that will take a large reservation but cannot actually close off a room. Neither one gives you a party.

Our spaces sit in between. They are working restaurants with real kitchens and real cocktail programs and they have dedicated private and semi-private areas built for groups. That means your team gets the food and service quality of a night out with the privacy and structure of a booked event.

A few things worth weighing as you choose:

Neighborhood matters more than you think. Hyde Park, Armature Works, Harbour Island and South Tampa each pull a different commute for your team. Pick the one closest to where most people are leaving from at 6pm on a Thursday.

Outdoor space is a real advantage here. December in Tampa runs comfortable, and a rooftop or waterfront setting does more for the mood than any amount of decor.

Parking is part of the guest experience. Ask about it early.

Holiday Party FAQs

How far in advance should I book a holiday party in Tampa?
Book six to eight weeks ahead at minimum. For December dates, especially the first three weeks of the month and any Friday or Saturday, we recommend inquiring in September or early October. Larger groups and full buyouts should start even earlier because those spaces are the first to commit.

What is the cost of a corporate holiday party in Tampa?
Cost depends on venue, guest count, menu format and beverage package. Most of our holiday events fall between $75 to $125 per person before tax and service charge. Seated dinners with a full beverage package sit at the higher end, and standing receptions with passed bites are typically the more budget-friendly option. We provide firm per person pricing before you commit.

Do you host Christmas parties for small groups?
Yes. Several of our spaces accommodate groups starting around 12 guests, including full buyouts at Ro and Jekyll. Smaller groups often get the best of both worlds during the holidays, since more dates stay open and menu customization is easier.

Can we buy out an entire restaurant for our holiday party?
Yes. Full buyouts are available, subject to date and minimum spend. Buyouts work well for companies wanting exclusive use of the space, custom branding or a program that runs longer than a standard dinner service.

What neighborhoods in Tampa are your holiday party venues in?
Our venues are in Hyde Park, Tampa Heights at Armature Works, Harbour Island and South Tampa. Most companies choose based on where the majority of their team is commuting from, since a shorter drive meaningfully improves attendance on a weeknight in December.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy-conscious options are built into every group menu. Share your requirements with your coordinator and the kitchen will accommodate them.

Do you offer holiday party venues with outdoor space?
Yes. M.Bird is a rooftop at Armature Works with skyline and river views, and Lower Deck sits on the water at Harbour Island. Tampa's December weather makes outdoor and semi-outdoor holiday events genuinely comfortable, which is one advantage of celebrating here.

How many guests can you accommodate?
Our spaces range from intimate private dining for 12 guests to full restaurant buyouts for 150.

What days are still available in December?
Availability changes weekly through the fall. Submit the form above with your date range and we will send you current open dates across all seven venues.
